Hello from all of us here at Country Financial. Fall is happening,
and quickly. It is welcome after the abnormally warm summer most of
us have had. In this article I want to talk about the many products
Country Financial o ers for the farm and ranching communities. As you
may know from previous articles, Country Financial was founded by
farmers for farmers back in 1925. We are very proud of our long history
of involvement and service we can provide to the farming and ranching
businesses as well as hobby farms with many varieties of animals such
as horses and cattle just to mention a few.
I too have an extensive background in the agriculture world. I was
raised on a 3rd generation working farm in rural North Dakota. We
raised a multitude of crops such as potatoes, edible beans, soybeans,
corn, and grain. Along with several acres of diverse crops we also had
animals, such as horses, and cattle as well as farrowing and raising pigs.
Weather was an ever-present thought in our daily concerns. We had to
make plans as to how to mitigate the damage caused by hail, excessive
rain, and of course drought. This problem was eased with having a

multi-peril crop insurance. For several years this coverage was the
lifeline that helped provide us with some nancial relief during some
very trying times and became a very important part of our planning for
the upcoming growing season.
